The second part of my February photo diary is about this not so ordinary museum here in Cebu, the Cebu Trick Art Museum. According to its Facebook page, it is the first optical illusion art museum in Cebu. The painting exhibits on walls and floors are rendered in two and three dimensional trick art which are especially designed for photographs. The paintings are creatively designed to release its creative art form into life depending on the visitor’s angle and creative poses. With the perfect angle, these art photos will create an illusion of depth and trickery.
The first time I heard about it, I really had no idea what it is all about. Everyone was talking about it, and I thought it was just the usual paintings-on-the-wall-museum. So when my friend and I had the chance to visit the area where the museum was located, we grabbed the opportunity and forgot about the world for a couple of minutes and took the best photos with the paintings.
Warning: this is a photo-heavy post. But I’m sure you will enjoy. After all, a picture speaks a thousand words. 😉
